This Banana cake is the best cake with bananas I’ve ever tasted. Connection of bananas, vanilla, chocolate and whipped cream taste,irresistibly reminiscent of banana split ice cream. This Banana cake is quick and easy to prepare so you must try this recipe and reward yourself with a delicious dessert!
Ingredients for biscuit:
9 egg whites
9 tablespoons of sugar
9 tablespoons of ground walnuts
2 tablespoons of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Mix egg whites until you get a firm strong snow. When it is done put it away. Then mix yolks with sugar, add ground walnuts, flour and baking powder. Mix manually until you get a smooth mixture and then add egg whites snow and mix until everything is binded together. Pour the mixture in a greased and floured baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) for 15 minutes. We made the same biscuit in Jaffa cake recipe, where you can see the pictures how the biscuit is made.
When the biscuit is baked, take it out from the baking sheet and cut it in half lengthwise.
Ingredients for cream:
1 l of milk
4 tablespoons of flour
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
250g of butter
Instructions for cream:
Take 200ml of milk and add vanilla pudding powder and flour in it. Mix until pudding powder and flour dissolves and put it away. Take 800ml of milk and add sugar and vanilla extract. Put milk and sugar to cook until it boils. Then remove from the heat and stir dissolved pudding powder and flour in it. Take it back on low heat and stir until you get a firm mixture. Put it away to cool down. When the mixture is cooled down mix softened butter in it.
Ingredients for compose:
400ml heavy cream
Instructions for compose:
Take the first part of the biscuit and spread half of the cream on it. Cover with second part of the biscuit and spread the second half of the cream on it.
Peel bananas and cut them in half horizontally. Put them on the top layer of cream. Correct bananas with your hands to flatten them.
Ingredients for chocolate topping:
120g dark chocolate
8 tablespoons of heavy cream
Melt the chocolate on steam and then add butter and heavy cream. Mix until you get a nice shiny mixture. The upper part of the cake ( cream and bananas ) wrap with aluminum foil, that you would not have too much chocolate poured over the cake. Pour chocolate topping over bananas.
Finally cover the entire cake with whipped cream. Decorate as you wish and serve well chilled.
