Chocolate egg is very tasty cake and it takes only 30 minutes to prepare it. You can shape this cake in any shape you want. I always make chocolate egg because I traditionaly make this cake for Easter.

Ingredients for the mixture:

250g butter

200g icing sugar

1 table spoon vanilla extract

1 yolk

100g chocolate powder or cocoa

2 table spoons of Rum


Mix melted butter with icing sugar, add vanilla extract and rum. Continue mixing and then add yolk and mix for one minute. Finally add chocolate powder. When you get a smooth mixture, put it away and start with the biscuit.

Ingredients for biscuit:

6 yolks

6 egg whites

6 table spoons of sugar

6 table spoons of flour

1 table spoon of baking powder


Mix egg whites until you get a strong snow. Put it away and mix yolks with sugar. Then slowly add flour and baking powder. Mix until you get a smooth mixture. Add egg whites snow but continue to mix manually. Pour mixture into a greased and floured baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) for 10 minutes. When biscuit is baked remove it from baking sheet. Hot biscuit immediately cut to as little cubes as you can and that cubes immediately put into previously prepared mixture. You have to mix well until biscuit absorbs the mixture. When you get  a compact mixture, make an egg shape and decorate as you wish. I used M&M’s.
